Starting operation in 1988, Sidney Woodworker & Lumber originally was operated in tandem with Rauschendorfer Construction, founded in 1981 by Robert Rauschendorfer. However after nearly 30 years operating both businesses, Robert decided in 2014 to close the doors on Rauschendorfer Construction and focus on the lumberyard. He sold the location and buildings, then reopened in the spring of 2015 behind the Richland County Fairgrounds.
With 40 years experience in the construction business, Robert can provide design and implementation advice before the first shovel of dirt is turned. Also, with that experience, he can suggest and provide materials proven to hold up under the extreme conditions of eastern Montana.
